Anatomy of the Reformer

The Reformer is a piece of equipment that looks like a bed, it has springs, a sliding carriage, ropes and pulleys. The carriage moves back and forth along tracks within a bed-like frame. The carriage is attached to one end of the reformer by a set of springs which provide a variety of difference resistance levels as the carriage is pushed or pulled along the frame.

The Reformer also features long straps with handles that are attached to the top end of the frame which can be pulled with the legs or arms to move the carriage, resulting in a functional full body work out which is sure to get your heart rate elevated!
