Rochelle Susans

I’m a proud mum, volunteer firefighter and personal trainer with a passion for helping people feel strong, confident and capable, not just in the gym, but in everyday life.
After having my son, I returned to the gym, where a member spotted me bench pressing and encouraged me to try powerlifting. I quickly fell in love with lifting, discovering just how powerful lifting can be, both physically and mentally. Training became my outlet, my clarity, and the thing that helped me become a stronger version of myself. That journey is what inspired me to become a personal trainer. I love helping others experience that same moment of realisation: “I can actually do this.”
As a volunteer firefighter, strength and readiness are a real part of my life. It’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about functional fitness. Being strong helps you show up better for yourself, your family, and your community.
My philosophy is to move well, lift strong, build confidence, enjoy the process, and create a lifestyle you love with a body that supports it.
