Buzz Sattler
My journey, like many, has plenty of chapters to tell. From my younger days of playing rugby and learning karate to later teaching karate, coaching rugby and participating in group fitness classes at the gym. Eight years ago, I took the ultimate step by asking a trainer if she would train me, as I had plateaued and was not seeing any improvements in my fitness. I became both the student and the client. I trained, experienced the gains, felt the transformation, and enjoyed being fit and healthy. I completed 10km runs, half marathons, and extremely challenging trail runs including the infamous ‘GOAT’ run on Mt Ruapehu. During this training period, I absorbed training sessions, journaled, and documented many. Now, with that knowledge along with my personal training education, I want to share my expertise.
My fitness philosophy is "an investment in life". If you haven't trained for a while, maybe since you finished playing sports a few years ago, or if it's just time to get moving again, I'm available to help you invest in yourself and transform from zero to hero.
